Top 5 freelance websites

The following are the top 5 websites that I have found for freelance work. This is for mostly programming/development, which includes PHP and many other languages.
Rentacoder is good place to find small to mid-sized projects for earning extra money. It also offers a rating system which can hurt or help you depending on your work.
Odesk is a little bit different than the rest of the sites listed here. Instead of bidding on projects, you bid on hours. Employers can list the amount of hours/week and # of weeks they need out of a potential freelancer.
Craigslist is great because there is no barrier to entry for either the employer or the potential freelancer/employee (it is also among the top sites on the Internet). This can also be a detriment because anyone with a computer can post a job listing.

A unique website that provides an opportunity for programmers to meet and work with designers.
Guru.com is a clean and professional website that has lots of large-scale projects. It also has a fairly high barrier to entry for the employers, which usually means better paying jobs.

Its also a good site with almost all features compared to these great sites just with very low cost
and indian freelancers can get they money with ICICI or any other local bank as well.

IT-Globalized.com is also a good one. Not yet as large as the others, but has all the hallmarks of a growing and successful freelancing portal. Especially, a growing number of projects, and good security.
Not that many of the freelancing out there actually use SSL for instance… Which is a bit of a worry…

I think, the list should also add the www.admiz.com, www.elance.com and www.codeguru.com they are very good professional sites.
The list should also include Getafreelancer.com. Its a good site.
The Getafreelancer.com have most of the bogus bids, they are not professional, I will recommend to use elance.com, its great site for professionals & enterprenuers
hi i am one of the top coders in RAC,GAC,GAF and SL . What i can advice is http://www.scriptlance.com/?ref=flashmad is the best for ever. only 5% commission. That means 95$ is yours if u do a 100$ proj. I love SL and it is having a lot of projects in all field. Easy to understand too.
