Sun Microsystems recently announced a new open-source development platform for servers designed to help massive multiplayer online game developers bring their creations to market faster.
Project Darkstar, the Java-based software lets developers create a variety of games that can be accessed through a single-server framework. Sun has been a supporter of online and mobile gaming, chief gaming officer, Chris Melissinos said. And Project Darkstar will be an “important technology foundation in the exploding multiplayer online game marketplace.”

So im guessing its not free. Im trying to find a downlaodable protect that alows you to make a MMOG for free but i guess theres not such a thing. People are asking for a mmorgp of Naruto i heared some rumors but i dont think any of them are true so im searching the web for hours lookin for such an item and ive come here. If its free tell me and if not do you have any idea of where there is free doawloadable software that allows you to make a free MMORGP. thx for taking your precous time to hear me complain.:D No but realy thx.

Hey i was actually wonderin the same thing lol. but i guess u need to be a programmer lol. I also want to know if there is a free mmorpg maker cause I have a pretty cool game in mind and omg its awesome.

well, im actually also lookin for a free mmorpg-creator, but im also willing to give some money (no big moneytransfers lol) I and my friend have actually a great new game in mind, never seen in the world yet. ur curious? then bring out a mmorpg-creator then i can show u. lol. now im looking for sum people who can program without the program. also graphic designers who can make little movie’s.

jesus you sad people ever heard of moparscape…it uses a java game engine and a runescape based source and you can change it all in just minutes you can use tutorials to hwlp get started at www.moparscape.org/smf/index.php
no there isnt, im a website engineir, there is no way to make your own mmorpg.
i know 1 website that says theres a free download to make your own m.m.o games for free but to upgrade it add more animals and seniary costs something. Its called Realm Crafter atm im just about to try it out if it’s any gd i’ll let u know! =]
