Michael Swindell informed me last Friday there will be a 14 day trial available the next week, possibly as soon as tomorrow, Monday, April 2th.
The 1 day trial was just an appetizer
By the way: this product rocks! I was able to join the test for some time now. It is a really good effort, especially for a first version.
VCL for PHP desperately lacks documentation.
Doc-o-matic-generated reference that comes with the product gives zero information. There are plenty lot of samples located in the program folder (within vcl/samples), but so far I find it difficult to step aside of them - probably because of my purely PHP background (no Delphi programming at all).
I am looking forward to the day when some nice tutorials appear!
It sure sounds amazing but….
Is it another dreamweaver clone ? Let’s hope not.
Why is the download page .aspx ? It doesn’t sound convincing. (yes i know they got a web infrastructure in dot net already blah blah, it still doesn’t sound nice, aka they are not a true PHP loving company).
Yet I’ll love to see a review on it before I try it. I’m currently working with eclipse on a mixed (windows-linux) environment and I can’t hide that I’ll have to fall into a real diamond to change my habits. Thanks for mentioning though
it’s really cool, I wish in a php compiler so to have native speed as apache MOD’s!!!
Delphi for PHP is a great product and there is a new forums website dedicated to Delphi for PHP: forums.delphi-php.net. Check it out.
I have been using this since the day it was made available. Very rough around the edges, but, lots of potential.
As I encounter issues, or cool findings, I post them on my blog (http://blog.onenerd.net/) if anyone is interested.
interesante , gracias
